Safely boarded JQ25 bound for Tokyo. They had to hold the plane because the first flight from Sydney was so late.
So in a sense, I got what I wished for when I wished I wouldn’t have to wait for 3 hours at Cairns. Instead I found myself dashing from baggage collection at Domestic, to check-in counters at International, cigarette in mouth, cursing Jetstar for the blunder…
In other, better news, the plane is practically empty so perhaps I’ll get to lie across 4 seats on the way there. Score!
