Hi everyone!

Since I got to Osaka (Nishinomiya-Najio) everything’s been moving so fast and I’ve been going out a lot so I haven’t had time to blog. Which is a shame because I lose detail every day I leave it. However, I’ve been taking notes.

So, the last few days in brief:

Overnight bus – arrived too early – got lost – asked someone for directions – got onto the wrong train – changed for the right train – arrived – called Ririka – bussed it to her house – met her parents – went out with a friend called Nari – went home – rested – went out again to look for a prepaid mobile phone – no avail – went home – had really delicious Japanese curry that Ririka’s grandma made – slept.

Next day: went to the post office – posting Harry Potter books I bought – thought they’d be like 2kg – wrong – almost 6kg! – went to Yodobashi Camera electronic store – it’s massive – met Teppei (who prefers being called Lord Nobunaga) – went to Osaka Castle – it was friggen hot – back to Umeda – Ririka had plans – Teppei took me to a game centre – went home.

Next day: HAPPY BDAE RIRIKA 😀 Ririka was out already – I went to Umeda to have a look around – met Ririka – went home together – went out later on to celebrate – ate yakiniku (the bestttt) – then ate cake then came home.

Yesterday: Went to Universal Studios Japan with Ririka, Shunji, Ayaka & Teppei – went on rides such as Spiderman, Jurassic Park, Jaws & Terminator 2 Rollercoaster – really fun but really hot – 50-60 minute wait for some rides – seems everyone knows the 5 songs you can choose that play on the rollercoaster – went to Umeda and had dinner at a traditional Okinawan restaurant – Ririka’s friends surprised her with a nice cake – after we went karaoke for 2 hours – all Japanese guys have a way of singing (haha more later) then went home.

If I expand on all that… far out we’re going to be here a long time.

My deepest thanks to Ririka and her family for making this happen – I’m enjoying myself immsensely.

That aside, although I love it here (more and more every time)… I’m missing my hole of a country because I know it’s cold over there and it’s boiling over here; also I want to see my family and friends. Yes, you guys! Holla at me when I get back okay? (10th July around midday)

In other news – I start work on Monday 14 July it seems. Not sure what the job is yet though…
